Abdullah Albanyan

I am a PhD candidate in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at University of North Texas. I am working under the supervision of Professor Eduardo Blanco. My research interests include artificial intelligence, natural language processing, computational linguistics, information retrieval, and in particular, sentiment analysis and opinion mining on social media platforms.

  • 08/2022: I am invited to become a Program Committee Member for the Thirty-Seventh AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI 2023).
  • 04/2022: I passed the Dissertation Proposal Defense.
  • 12/2021: I passed the Qualifier Exam.
  • 12/2021: Our paper on analyzing the hateful tweets and replies has been accepted at AAAI 2022.
